For Chef Dylan Ambrose, sometimes less is more. He believes "using more than 5 ingredients tends to muddle food flavors for many dishes." Instead, he likes to stick to a few, high quality ingredients. This comes as welcome news for many time-pressed cooks looking to get great quality food on the table—fast. His culinary inspirations include Julia Child, his grandfather and his mother—although not necessarily in that order!
He is currently a member of
Stonemill Kitchen's culinary
development team at Reser's, the
largest salad manufacturer in the US.
He grills year round and offers the
following tips for a great, backyard
BBQ: "Clean as you go. Prep as much
as you can the day before the party,
and keep your shopping list (and
grocery bill) small, by re-using
ingredients in multiple dishes."
